We are seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee logistics and supply chain operations for an exciting mining project in Western Australia. This role is critical in ensuring efficient distribution processes, aligning supply strategies with project goals, and driving operational success.
Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain for the mining project, including sourcing, procurement, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment required for the project.Logistical Coordination: Coordinate and manage the transportation, storage, and delivery of resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics solutions while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure the seamless flow of materials and equipment. Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries and concerns.Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that all supply and distribution activities comply with local and national regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.Budgeting & Financial Management: Assist in preparing and managing logistics budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and resource allocation. Ensure cost-effective strategies are employed while maintaining quality and safety standards.Technology Integration: Leverage advanced technologies to optimize the supply chain and distribution processes, including automation and AI-driven solutions to increase efficiency and reduce risks.Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to ensure the success of supply and distribution operations.Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a corporate management role, with a strong background in managing operations within the mining or resource industries.Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Proven ability to inspire and lead a team, ensuring consistent high performance across the board.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including board members, government entities, and local communities.Experience in managing and optimizing logistics, supply chain systems, and financial oversight in a high-stakes environment.Ability to integrate technology and innovation into operations, enhancing efficiency and scalability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
