About the role: Peabody are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Centurion underground mine, Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. For more information on Centurion visit (centurionmine.com.au)
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the scope of your role is to coordinate all warehousing functions for the company and site; in a timely effective manner ensuring all such activities are carried out in accordance with company and site policies and procedures.
Duties will include: Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally, through positive and effective communication Manage, influence, and empower the Warehouse team to provide a safe and effective warehouse operation Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service to internal and external stakeholders Lead, coach and develop team members by setting clear expectations and goals on warehouse process' & best practice Allocation and distribution of warehouse tasks and responsibilities to the warehouse team Provide day-to-day direction to the team to ensure delivery against plan, ensuring service levels are in accordance with Operational needs and expectations Management of Warehouse SOX Compliance and Operational KPI's Management of cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained Routine management of Rotable and Repairable materials to ensure optimal critical stock availability Management of all inbound and outbound freight requirements (General, Emergency and Heavy Haulage) Timely management of warehouse workflow, ensuring timely payment of invoices in accordance with payment terms Performance management of direct reports to promote and maintain a highly effective team Management of roster and annual leave to ensure optimal coverage of warehouse The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
About you: 5 to 10 years of warehouse, logistics experience within the resources or heavy industry sectors High level SAP inventory management experience 3 to 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience within the resources or heavy industry sectors Cert lV in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing and Storage) About Peabody: Peabody is a leading coal producer, providing essential products for the production of affordable, reliable energy & steel.
