About the role: Peabody are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Centurion underground mine, Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. For more information on Centurion visit (centurionmine.com.au)
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the scope of your role is to coordinate all warehousing functions for the company and site; in a timely effective manner ensuring all such activities are carried out in accordance with company and site policies and procedures.
Duties will include: Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally, through positive and effective communicationManage, influence, and empower the Warehouse team to provide a safe and effective warehouse operationEstablish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service to internal and external stakeholdersLead, coach and develop team members by setting clear expectations and goals on warehouse process' & best practiceAllocation and distribution of warehouse tasks and responsibilities to the warehouse teamProvide day-to-day direction to the team to ensure delivery against plan, ensuring service levels are in accordance with Operational needs and expectationsManagement of Warehouse SOX Compliance and Operational KPI'sManagement of cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintainedRoutine management of Rotable and Repairable materials to ensure optimal critical stock availabilityManagement of all inbound and outbound freight requirements (General, Emergency and Heavy Haulage)Timely management of warehouse workflow, ensuring timely payment of invoices in accordance with payment termsPerformance management of direct reports to promote and maintain a highly effective teamManagement of roster and annual leave to ensure optimal coverage of warehouseThe lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
