Position Responsibilities Responsible for elaborating tax compliance routines, monthly installments and annual returns related to indirect and direct taxes. Calculate VAT monthly credits and prepare documentation for requesting and successfully obtaining the corresponding refunds. Coordinate external consultants to address the VAT refunds timing targets based on the cash flow position and expiration dates. Prepare electronic invoicing reconciliation for income and outcome and use it to determine monthly and annual returns. Prepare related parties' information to be submitted for transfer pricing compliance. Propose initiatives to enhance tax compliance processes aiming efficiency on the day-to-day work. Responsible for ensuring accuracy on the tax accounts balances for month closing and reconciliations cycles. Prepare tax schedules for dictamen fiscal and partner with accounting department to submit it properly in time. Ensure the correct applications of withholdings on abroad payments to suppliers and document them supporting the deduction. Promptly attend any tax inquire from the local Tax Authorities. Prepare US GAAP tax reporting, local current and deferred tax provision, profit sharing reserve and FIN48 contingency not limited to Mexico but also supporting Latam markets. Work closely with third-party external professionals (global and local providers) and promote close collaborations with the local finance team and shared services centers within the organization. Stay up to date with tax practices in Mexico to implement changes, preventing exposure and avoiding tax contingencies. Ensure SOX compliance in relation to reporting controls by supporting testing and documentation processes. Main Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field + 4 years of combined tax experience in public accounting or a large multinational company. Proficient in English & good Spanish communication skills. Knowledge in SAP and One Source/Tax stream. Advanced skills in Microsoft office, especially excel. Good understanding of accounting, tax principles and tax return preparation. Team player with good collaborative skills who is confident in communicating with others and can work with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with an ability to deliver accurate documentation and task completion. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and complete priorities in a time sensitive environment. Detail oriented and organized. Open to receive/provide feedback and keen on continue to develop within the Organization. Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations to come up with possible solutions.
