As the Supervisor Rope Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a maintenance crew, ensuring safe execution of work, driving operational efficiency, and meeting maintenance schedules and standards.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Supervising the maintenance team, ensuring competency & adherence to safety standards.Planning daily work and ensuring teams are set up for success.Managing resource work centre data and overseeing the work management process.Leading regular audits and ensuring compliance with operational standards.ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Proven leadership and experience in supervising a maintenance team.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate.Expertise in maintenance processes, including SAP and work management.Ability to problem-solve, prioritise tasks, and manage competing demands.Exposure to Rope Splicing and Rope Maintenance preferred, but not essential.Qualifications for this position are: Currently or can be appointed a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26.Holds a recognised trade qualification or possesses significant supervisory experience in a rope maintenance environment.Formal leadership qualification.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
