Maritime Constructions is a marine contractor uniquely capable of self-performing the full spectrum of specialised construction disciplines to deliver complex marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning. Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, rockwalls, and underwater pipelines in Australia and internationally.
We are seeking a suitably experienced person to supervise and lead a marine construction project with a strong emphasis on civil construction. The person we are seeking will ideally have a solid background in the construction industry, with previous experience supervising heavy civil projects including experience in bulk earthworks, rockwall construction, final trim, sheet-piling, structural concrete and precast concrete installation. 
Reporting to the Project Manager/Construction Manager, this role will require you to be primarily site based leading a team of up to 6 people at any one time.

Work for a company that values training and development  Key responsibilities include: Plan, implement and supervise all daily operations on site with a "hands on" approach  Strong focus on safe work culture and processes  Manage and develop crews including rostering and on-site training  Prioritise tasks and allocate resources accordingly Work to project timelines and targets Manage subcontractors  Complete relevant site documentation and reports Conduct site workgroup meetings including SWMS, pre-start and toolbox Maintain the integrity of site Provision of site inductions for employees, contractors and visitors  Manage and maintain allocated site vessels, plant and equipment Manage and control site expenditure Ensure that all risks and activities are managed in accordance with quality, WHS and environmental obligations In addition to your proven supervisory experience , the following would be advantageous:
Strong leadership skills Civil qualifications and tickets Reside in Adelaide  Good organisational skills Ability to lead by example  Ability to foster great team work Self-motivated, hard-working, punctual and reliable Demonstrated computer literacy i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook Great work ethic - self-motivated, hard-working, punctual and reliable A current Drivers Licence Pass a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
