They are a friendly, growing firm who provide work/life balance, social events, training, and interesting client-facing + advisory work. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team focusing on SME's and family groups.
Their client base is made up of various industries ranging in turnover anywhere between $5 – $20mil. In this role, you will work closely with the Directors and other 2 managers, who as a firm are heavily invested in your professional development. You will have access to ongoing training, an open-door policy, and a relaxed working environment with a young and vibrant dynamic.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established firm who also have ambitious plans for future growth. They operate in a paperless environment and use Xero as their practice software. You will be responsible for a growing portfolio of SME clients across compliance, tax planning, and advisory work.
This role is newly created and will involve the onboarding of new clients into the business and servicing existing clients who will be transitioned into your portfolio. You will have the support of accountants in the office and offshore resources, with the plan to build out your team with juniors in the future.
Key Responsibilities:Preparing tax returns and financial statements & reports for various entitiesTax planning and advisory projects for clientsLiaising with the ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodiesLiaising with clients regarding compliance and advisory mattersMentoring and reviewing the work of the Junior teamIdeal Candidate:6+ years' Business Services experienceHave completed your CA/CPA qualificationsExperience with clients across a variety of entity-types and industriesStrong communication skills and a desire to work with SME clientsTo apply for this role, please email your resume to quoting reference CO12620 or for more information phone Chelsea Oey on .
