Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer that has been awarded a 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs, maintenance services, and renewals project works for the City of Gold Coast.
About the role
We have an opportunity for a Supervisor specialising in Landscaping and Environmental maintenance to join the team in a full-time, permanent capacity based at our Arundel depot. The Maintenance Civil Supervisor will provide overall co-ordination and supervision of works to ensure work is completed to the appropriate quality standards, within cost and time parameters. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with Planners to schedule resources, plant and equipment, travel, and materials to execute the Maintenance Plan.
Oversee day-to-day activities of work crews.
Perform administrative tasks - timesheets, scoping documents, safety processes, completion documentation, etc.
Providing coaching and support to crews.
Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.
About you
Supervisory experience essential.
Driver License and Construction Safety Card.
Extensive experience in the planning, set-up, and execution of works.
Experience in a high-volume Landscaping and Environmental maintenance.
Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Evidence of immunity or willingness to obtain vaccination to gain immunity to Hepatitis A & B.

Additional Requirements
Cert IV or higher Project Management qualifications.
Leadership Qualifications (Cert IV Leadership & Management) highly regarded.
Experience in the water sector or civil construction is desirable.
Evidence of immunity or willingness to obtain vaccination to gain immunity to Hepatitis A & B.
