Supervisor, Inventory Management Brisbane About the opportunity: Located in Pinkenba, the L3Harris Integration and Sustainment Centre (ISC) is a multi-faceted logistics support entity that provides the L3Harris Defence Australia programs with integrated logistics support.
Within this facility, as a member of the In-Service Support (ISS) team, this role is responsible for providing logistics support to a multitude of L3 Harris projects, standing offers and services associated with the freight and distribution of L3 Harris communications equipment and ancillaries.
Responsibilities of the role include the following: Direct management of Warehouse and Inventory staff.Provide efficient warehouse services to both internal and external customers.Management and oversight of the warehousing and distribution process and procedures.Management and oversight of the Inventory management and services.Management and oversight of relevant CCI, security and compliance requirements.Manage receipting for ship in place deliveries.Oversight of the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of warehouse inventory.Management and coordination of all relevant KPI reporting/recording requirements.Mentoring warehouse and Inventory staff.Ensure common goals are focused upon and that business objectives are consistently met.Delivery of warehousing and distribution services IAW program requirements.Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, ensuring compliance to applicable WHS legislation.Security of Warehouse environment and maintain access control, ensuring housekeeping standards are always maintained.Identify and implement process improvement initiatives that streamline procedures and create greater efficiencies.Skills and Qualifications: MILIS/SAP qualifications.Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution as a minimum.Team Leader / Supervisory experience.Preferred Additional Skills: Professional training in Team Leadership (Certificate IV Management and Leadership minimum).Analytical mindset.
