Supervisor

Opportunity for a Finishes Foreman to join a Tier 2 builder working on a $100M Mixed use project. 

Operating across residential, commercial, education, health & hospitality they lead the way in commercial projects up to the value of $500M. With a secure pipeline of upcoming work they are looking to appoint a Finishes Foreman for a mixed use project. 

This is a unique opportunity to get involved with one of Australia's most forward thinking construction companies and work with true industry professionals;

Roles & responsibilities: Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractorsManaging the subcontractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilitiesMonitor subcontractor performance daily in regards to safety, quality and programme and report deficiencies to the Site ManagerAssisting the Site Manager in the commissioning and handover of the project by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project ManagerManaging cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, in order to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budgetMaintain positive industrial relations with authorities and unions, resolving any issues in accordance with the client's guidelines.Desired experience: Trade backgroundPrevious experience working for a head contractor is essential Proven experience as a finishes, structure or general foreman on commercial construction projects in SydneyProven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safetyFor any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Adam Shaw on 029376 8200 or click apply.
