What's on offer? We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Supervisor for our growing Rouse Hill project team within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The project is for our client Sydney Water and includes a major upgrade to the existing treatment plant. The scope is multi-disciplinary with civil/ structures/ pipework/ mechanical and electrical, so ideally candidates will have a range of experiences and be keen to learn and challenge themselves. In this role you'll be responsible for: Supervising and managing a self-perform team and subcontractors
Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions
Reports incidents, non-conformances and near misses and participate in incident investigations when required
Collaborating with project engineers/managers, civil/ mechanical/ electrical disciplines
Planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources
Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings.
How you'll connect to the role: Ideally you will have experience on Sydney Water projects, treatment plants or similar infrastructure projects
Candadates experience as a field Supervisor working on either civil, structural or mechanical projects are encouraged to apply
Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
A sound understanding of industrial construction methodologies and standards
Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead from the front (both subcontractors and self-perform staff)
