A rare opportunity to join our TAS team, C+M Build Group has an outstanding reputation, specialising in domestic and commercial repairs.
Working alongside many of Australia's largest Insurers.
Due to sustained growth we are seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to join our motivated and dedicated team in the Tasmanian area.
The role: Reporting to Operations Manager and Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing trades through the repair process.
You will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Manager and Construction Manager and working closely with a team of Estimators and Supervisors.Liaise and communicate with clients, building trades, other consultants, and industry professionals.Managing a portfolio of residential, commercial, insurance projects to meet safety, cost, time, and quality objectives.Engage and manage subcontractors ensuring projects run to schedules and the prompt delivery of completed repairs.Monitoring project schedules, timelines, and budgets, reporting any delays or issues.Maintain a high level of communication with Insurers and Insureds throughout the entire repair process, providing regular updates on project progress.Complete final handover and walk-through of repairs upon completion to ensure work is up to C+M Build standard, and the Insured is satisfied.Undertake site inspections and field investigations involving all types of building and structures.Management of your own schedule with job appointments and site meetings.Ensure all proper health and safety protocols are followed on site.Requirements: Proven experience in a supervising or management role within the building industry.Strong understanding of insurance repair procedures and project management is essential.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Capability to handle multiple projects at once while adhering to deadlines.Experience in negotiation, facilitating, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.Valid driver's license.Professionally presented and empathetic, with the ability to effectively interact with homeowners experiencing challenges due to property damage.Carpenter/Builder background (Preferable).Package: Salary + Super.Work Ute.Laptop and iPad.Fuel Card.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.
