Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, particularly within food production or kitchen environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Responsibilities Supervise daily operations within the kitchen or bar area, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Lead and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence. Assist in training new staff on food safety protocols, kitchen procedures, and customer service expectations. Monitor food production processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to develop schedules and assign duties to ensure optimal staffing levels. Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas to ensure cleanliness and organisation. Maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a kitchen or bartending environment. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively. Experience in food production or cooking is highly desirable. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
