The Opportunity:Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Supervisor – Field Service will be responsible and accountable for the operation of all Field Service activities, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, profitably, providing a high-level service to the customers of the Branch.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, organise and distribute daily duties to field service staff.Effectively communicate with staff ensuring that they get clear direction of job requirements.Ensure all service department activities meet Golden Rules & HSE standards.Monitor job status using the WIP report so that all work is completed on time and promptly invoiced.Ensure that all warranty cases are completed within warranty timeframes.Ensure that photos are taken for all warranty repairs and stored in the system.Support Field Service coordinator and PM Service coordinator in the coordination of work in progress jobs, ensuring invoicing is accurate and any potential disputes are resolved prior to invoicing.Manage technician hours to minimize lost time.Supply our customers with a friendly, timely and professional response.Notify customers of any changes to the delivery date of products or services.Update customers on job progress.Ensure Field Service vehicles are maintained and kept clean, presenting a professional image at all times.Recognise gaps in training & advise accordingly.Understand the Customer Support Charter & ensure compliance within the service departmentRoster: Monday to Friday Role Located: Adelaide Branch Komatsu Benefits: Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefitsFinancial:Company funded Income Protection InsuranceCareer:Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career developmentHealth:Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus HealthTravel:Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agentsReferral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to KomatsuWhat we are looking for: Ability to provide a high level of customer service in line with our Customer Support Charter.Demonstrated commitment to safety.Must have good organisational and interpersonal skills with internal & external stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood understanding of computer systems and Microsoft OfficeExposure to Dynamics AX & SAPQualifications: Certified Tradesperson/or qualified Plant Mechanic.Previous experience in a similar position - supervisory/management roleHolds a current driver's/or MR license.Ready to get started?
