Join Our Team as a Supervisor We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Field team as a Supervisor with Mechanical experience on Draglines and Shovels.
This position is a rostered based position working 6 on 6 off roster pattern.
To succeed in the role, you will have previous experience supervising a team on a mine site.
You will have a strong safety focus with the ability to mentor your team.
You will be required to supervise all activities and ensure:
Safety standards are maintained. Deadlines are met. Tasks are completed accurately to specifications and to the highest quality standards. To successfully perform the role, duties will include but are not limited to:
Responsible for day to day operations. Conduct regular Prestarts/Toolbox meetings to communicate planning and team direction. Responsible for ensuring all works are completed correctly and the QA process is adhered to. Mentoring, training and supervising employees. Continually seek to improve processes and strive for operational efficiency. The successful applicant will have:
Relevant Trade Qualification Experience working in field maintenance Previous leadership experience Current Drivers Licence Supervisor certificate & G2 Working at Heights Confined Space Gas Test Atmosphere Great communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience leading small teams of tradespeople and apprentices Exceptional time management, people skills and a willingness to build a cohesive team Uncompromising attitude to safety What's in it for you?
