The RoleReporting to the Superintendent – Electrical, you will be required to effectively co-ordinate and supervise a team of electrical personnel carrying out maintenance and installation work within the Zinc Lead Concentrator. This is a residential position in Mount Isa, working an 8/6 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Control electrical works within a team environmentProvide mentoring to and effectively communicate with your teamBe task focused and prepared to work with others to achieve daily targets and outcomesEnsure that electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and timely mannerRespond to plant breakdowns with the ability to prioritize to effectively manage downtime to a minimumConduct effective fault finding and problem solving on all electrical and instrumentation equipmentYou will have the following skillset and attributes:A current Electrical Fitter Mechanic licensePrevious experience with supervising and leading teamsExperience with heavy industry maintenance including High Voltage MotorsThe ability to maintain and repair industrial instrumentation and complex automatic plantExperience with PLCs and DCS is well regardedRespect for safety and a regimented mindset that will place a high priority on statutory testing, guaranteeing all tests are performed at the required scheduled dates and records are maintained to the highest standardTechnical knowledge and organizational skills will ensure you thrive in this fantastic opportunity for career progression#J-18808-Ljbffr
