Supervisor - Electrical And Instruments

The Role Reporting to the Superintendent – Electrical, you will be required to effectively co-ordinate and supervise a team of electrical personnel carrying out maintenance and installation work within the Zinc Lead Concentrator. This is a residential position in Mount Isa, working an 8/6 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Control electrical works within a team environment Provide mentoring to and effectively communicate with your team Be task focused and prepared to work with others to achieve daily targets and outcomes Ensure that electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and timely manner Respond to plant breakdowns with the ability to prioritize to effectively manage downtime to a minimum Conduct effective fault finding and problem solving on all electrical and instrumentation equipment You will have the following skillset and attributes: A current Electrical Fitter Mechanic license Previous experience with supervising and leading teams Experience with heavy industry maintenance including High Voltage Motors The ability to maintain and repair industrial instrumentation and complex automatic plant Experience with PLCs and DCS is well regarded Respect for safety and a regimented mindset that will place a high priority on statutory testing, guaranteeing all tests are performed at the required scheduled dates and records are maintained to the highest standard Technical knowledge and organizational skills will ensure you thrive in this fantastic opportunity for career progression #J-18808-Ljbffr
