Joining their team means becoming part of a dynamic workplace that values innovation, client relationships and top-quality service.Key Responsibilities:Accounting and Tax Compliance : Prepare financial accounts, income tax returns, and reports for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.
Conduct tax research, review GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS forms and assist with tax-related matters.Client Management : Build and nurture client relationships, participate in meetings, and efficiently resolve client issues.
Prepare journal adjustments, reconciliations and financial statements to ensure a high standard of service.Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior accountants, delegating tasks according to their abilities and development needs.
Monitor team performance and ensure deadlines are met while fostering professional growth.Operational Excellence : Collaborate with Managers and Directors on complex technical matters, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement of systems and practices.
Take charge of client billing and financial performance to meet productivity and billing targets.Professional Development : Engage in internal and external professional development opportunities.
Share technical expertise with the team, lead training sessions and contribute to the firm's growth in specialised technical areas.Qualifications and Skills:Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major.CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion.Proven experience in a supervisory role within the Australian tax and business services environment.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and compliance.Proficiency in APS, MYOB, Xero, and other accounting software.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.Why Join Us?
