Site-based and hands-on, you will be contributing to the successful delivery of a billion dollar gold project.
Reporting to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for directing and controlling all activities under your influence to ensure that these activities meet the Health, Safety, Environment, and quality expectations of our clients whilst also delivering on time, within budget and to Primero standard.
The point of hire is Perth, Western Australia on a 2/1 FIFO roster.
Your Key Responsibilities Directly accountable for setting up cranes on the worksite and monitoring their use for site requirements.Effectively manage timesheets, daily dairies, and Safety KPI's, participate in incident investigations when required.Responsible for ensuring that pre-start meetings are held daily with assigned personnel working on the site.What you 'Can do' Must hold Open Crane ticket with minimum 10 years' operating experience.Working knowledge of Hydraulic Mobile Cranes and Lattice Boom Crawler crane.Sound knowledge of rigging practices hold minimum Intermediate riggers ticket.Able to interpret lift plans/studies.Minimum 2+ years as SMP Supervisor for mining construction projects.Unwavering commitment to a safety and team first approach.Must have current Appointed Persons-Section 44 or Section 26 qualifications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.OSH Construction Industry White/Blue Card (Mandatory).Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen.What we 'Can Do' for you: Competitive CompensationHealth and Wellbeing SupportBenefits & DiscountsEmployee Referral RewardsIf you're looking for a career where you experience more 'Can Do', then we're the team for you.
