CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

Reporting to the Superintendent, we are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with a background in civil works, to join our team, taking ownership for the urban realm and stormwater scope. Responsibilities will include:
Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the projectEnsuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing workMonitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standardsManaging site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeepingEnsure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of workForward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordinationEnsuring subcontracts act safety and comply with safety requirementsAbout you Proven experience in a similar role in the Construction industryExperience managing self-performed worksExperience on civil and stormwater works Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast paced project environment and deliver on deadlinesHold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholdersFocus and commitment to a zero harm environmentOne project team, building career opportunities for you.
