Working a residential or FIFO 5:2 4:3 roster ex Perth and reporting to the Senior Advisor Operational Excellence, you will: Actively lead direct reports across Greater Tom Price Operations to ensure activities meet all health, safety, and environmental requirements, and assist in risk mitigation Lead the Administration Team to provide effective and efficient administrative support to Operations Supervise, coach, and advise team members on administration best practices, processes, and procedures, providing direction, purpose and performance feedback Foster a team culture of continuous improvement by encouraging identification of cost reduction initiatives, production efficiency projects and process improvements Establish and maintain rapport with stakeholders throughout the business and beyond the site boundaries Manage and maintain RTIO databases including operational SharePoint pages and information directories Support site initiatives as required for site wide events such as VIP Visits and Family Days What you will need for this role Be proactive with a commitment in driving a safe, supportive, and inclusive team culture in line with our core values Have leadership experience and be confident in developing and coaching teams Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple programs of change/continuous improvement Strong administration background is essential Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver's License What we offer: A work environment where safety is always the number one priority Flexible working from home arrangements as per operational requirements 18 weeks of gender-neutral and equal paid parental leave, with continued superannuation contributions whilst employees are on unpaid or half paid parental leave A competitive base salary reflective of your skills and experience with annual incentive program Comprehensive medical benefits including subsidised private health insurance for employees and immediate family Attractive share ownership plan Company provided insurance cover Extensive salary sacrifice & salary packaging options Career development & education assistance to further your technical or leadership ambitions Ongoing access to family-friendly health and medical wellbeing support Leave for all of life's reasons (vacation/annual, paid parental, sick leave) Exclusive employee discounts (banking, accommodation, cars, retail and more); and Local relocation packages offered for Australian residents only About Rio Tinto In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own an integrated portfolio of iron ore assets: a world-class, integrated network of 17 mines, four independent port terminals, a rail network spanning nearly 2,000 kilometres and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand.
