It has been producing zinc concentrate for customers worldwide since 2017.The mine is committed to a low-carbon future. In April 2023, the Dugald River Solar Farm began operations, supplying a third of the mine's power, and reducing emissions by 33% and this is just the start of its renewable energy transition.Dugald River employs around 750 employees and contractors on a mix of fly-in, fly-out, and local residential basis. We have an opportunity for a supervisory administrator to step into a newly created position and be an integral part of implementing a strong administration strategy.The purpose of this position is to understand the business administrative requirements and develop and implement a strong administration strategy that focuses on optimising the site's continued success. This is a permanent position on a 4/3 roster, various transport arrangements are available including:Daily Bus in Bus out (BIBO) from Cloncurry.Drive in Drive out (DIDO) from Mount Isa. Or,Fly in Fly out (FIFO) from Townsville or Brisbane. Some of your key responsibilities will include:Managing and leading the administration team to maintain a high-performing and collaborative teamAnalyzing, reviewing, and evaluating current systems and processesDeveloping and implementing a strong administration strategyLiaising with senior leaders to ensure all site administrative requirements are supportedEnsuring quality and compliance of administrative standardsCoordinating all administrative functionsThe candidate will possess the following:Dedicated to workplace safety with a proven ability to establish safety-focused cultures and systemsExperienced in leading and developing administration teamsAbility to engage and influence senior leadersProven critical thinking and implementation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional administrative skillsUnderstanding of people logistics and travel booking systemsC Class Driver's LicenseRelevant qualifications in Business Administration and/or LeadershipWorking knowledge of SAP, SAMs/Workflow or similar systemsWhat we offerRemuneration for this role includes a competitive salary package & annual bonus.MMG also provides the following generous benefits for employees living in the local communities of Cloncurry & Mt.
