CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings, and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.The Opportunity:With an exciting pipeline of projects on the horizon, CPB Contractors are recruiting Supervisors for a new upcoming opportunity in Townsville, QLD.What will a day in this role look like:Monitoring construction progress and compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.Ensuring all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilization of all on-site resources for the project.Acting in accordance with CPB Contractors policies, procedures, and requirements relating to proper business and interpersonal conduct.Ensuring all workers meet site requirements prior to commencing work.Ensuring site-wide compliance with standards, specifications, and safety.What are we looking for you to bring to the team:Previous experience as a supervisor working on large-scale projects within the Civil Construction industry, e.g., roads or buildings.Championing a culture of "Safety & Health above all else" and the ability to conduct own work and manage teams according to site SHEQ.Strong people management and conflict resolution skills.Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines.Based in Townsville or surrounding areas.Please note: This role is being sourced through CPB Contractors directly and we will not accept applications via external recruitment agencies.
