(subject to review and approval)About the Role: ACT Pathology is a division of the Canberra Health Services with laboratories located at both The Canberra Hospital and North Canberra Hospital operating 24 hours, seven days a week all year round.
The Microbiology Department is based at The Canberra Hospital laboratory and provides a broad range of clinical diagnostic microbiology services, including bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology and parasitology.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Supervising Scientist in Microbiology, who under the direction of the Chief Scientist Microbiology, will provide laboratory operational and clinical support, direct supervision of the senior scientists, promote education, training and professional development, and contribute to Departmental strategic planning.
