From the azure waters of the Recherche Archipelago to the rugged beauty of Cape Le Grand National Park, Esperance provides a stunning backdrop for conservation efforts.The role promises engaging challenges and rewarding experiences in preserving one of the world's most biodiverse marine ecosystems and the benefits of a government supplied house or home ownership scheme for those willing to call Esperance home. That's not all; fishing, diving, sailing, surfing and sandboarding are some of the activities you can immerse yourself in, with plenty of trails to discover, both along the shore and further inland.Your responsibilities as a Supervising Fisheries and Marine Officer will involve overseeing daily district operations, ensuring efficient resource management, and conducting risk assessments to devise operational plans. You will guide legislation interpretation, lead field compliance activities, and coordinate investigations to uphold legal standards. Additionally, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing compliance strategies and community education programs.
