With some massive goals ahead, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager who will bring their A game, all while motivating, inspiring and holding to account those around them.Our managers play an integral role in the development of our team growth and workplace culture. In this position you can expect to work through a various range of responsibilities:Supervise efficient operations of the supermarket.Ensure all areas of the store deliver customer satisfaction and promote a customer-first mentality by supporting a culture of employee commitment to customer service excellence.Maintain standards (operational, merchandising, equipment, advertising, and promotional) in line with business policies and procedures.Ensure adherence to all food handling and hygiene policies and procedures to comply with state/local bylaws and statutory obligations.Manage orders to reflect current operational requirements to achieve sales and cost budgets in line with business expectations.Support staff to comply with business policies and procedures by conducting and managing staff training and development.Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.Conduct performance appraisals of staff and ensure performance management throughout the store.Be proficient in the use of Point of Sale (POS) systems with demonstrated proficiency in utilising computer and other store equipment to maintain an efficient environment.Create a safe working environment in accordance with OH&S legislation.Provide human resource management skills in acquiring new staff.Maintain strict security measures across the operation.Monitor supermarket daily bank balances and overdrafts.Report to company shareholders on a monthly basis.Maintain excellent product knowledge across the operation.Create, implement and maintain seasonal yearly programs for special events to increase operational profitability.Foster a supermarket environment where staff are motivated to stay.Undertake any required training for the operation of business.Perform any other duties required for the operations of the supermarket.This role is suited to a strong leader with excellent communication skills to drive continuous improvement.A competitive package will be customised for the right candidate.
