About the role Reporting to the Manager - Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and cost control of mobile plant, for the safe and efficient operation of mining activities. Other responsibilities include:
Providing strategic input to long-term capacity planning, innovative use of technologies, and the application of contemporary maintenance management methodologies and best practices. Purchasing and maintaining the EHO Mobile fleet for both surface and underground activities. Providing leadership and direction to both the surface and underground maintenance teams and workshops. Managing the mobile fleet contracts. This is a residential role based in Cloncurry with a flexible roster (5/2 – 4/3 preferred). We offer relocation, a vehicle, housing, and cover your utilities.
If you reside in Mount Isa, this role is also available on a flexible DIDO roster.
About You To excel in this role, you will possess relevant maintenance qualifications, and a background working in similar senior leadership roles within the mining industry. You will have a proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and leading and inspiring teams. Your expertise in maintenance management methodologies and best practices, coupled with your extensive knowledge of mobile plant, will be crucial to your success.
