In this role you will be responsible for:Providing direct leadership to the CHPP and Fixed Plant Maintenance TeamsMaintaining a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices to ensure a safe working environmentOversee compliance with legislation, safety systems, maintenance standards and proceduresDelivery of the weekly asset management plan through which Maintenance and Production targets are achievedManagement of major shutdowns and outages on Fixed Plant EquipmentManaging and delivering the Fixed Plant Maintenance budgetManaging contractor complianceBuilding capability within the team through development of Supervisors and EmployeesCommunication and engagement with all relevant stakeholdersProviding visible leadership, advice and support to site teamsDriving a continuous improvement mindset and delivering improvement initiativesRole modelling the BHP Operating System (BOS) principlesYour previous success in leading a large team and building a positive workplace culture will be paramount in setting you up for success.About YouAbout YouMotivated, engaged and supportive people leader;Visible safety leader who develops and coaches your teamProven frontline leadership experience leading teams to deliver high performance outcomes safely in a Maintenance or Mining background.
