About the role
We are seeking an engaging, safety focused
Superintendent Engineering
to join our Engineering team responsible for managing, maintaining and promoting improvements on the key processes: defect elimination, assurance program, shutdown and work management, across our Cape Lambert Fixed Plant Operations.
This is a great opportunity for a technical leader with great communication skills to lead a team of professionals. You will be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviour, whilst providing technical expertise and encouraging innovative thought within your team.
Reporting to the Manager Planning & Engineering, you will be joining an experienced, stable and knowledgeable team of subject matter experts working in a challenging and exciting environment.
This role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your strong leadership and fixed plant operational experience. Working a 5 days on, 2 off, 4 days on, 3 off roster for a residential based role (FIFO will be considered), and reporting to the Manager Asset Management, you will be:
Improving the safety outcomes and behaviours of the planning and engineering teams;
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business;
Leading and developing a team of professional mechanical / fixed plant engineers;
Developing tools to identify and articulate key system performance and opportunities for system improvement;
Strong stakeholder relationship management, including influencing, communication, collaboration and conflict resolution skills;
Deep technical understanding and experience in fixed plant engineering.
