We are inviting expressions of interest for the role of Superintendent Coal Quality & Logistics at the Carmichael Coal Mine. This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned professional with approximately 5 years of relevant experience seeking to elevate their career and explore substantial growth prospects. Responsibilities of the role include: Oversee and coordinate our contracting partners throughout the coal handling process, from Run-of-Mine (ROM) to Port. Manage resource characteristics, mine planning processes, and rail/stockpile/logistics processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure high-quality coal management by understanding and applying coal quality principles, including washability, bore core interpretation, and LIMN modelling. Qualifications and Experience: Coal Quality Understanding: Proven knowledge of washability, bore core interpretation, and LIMN modelling. Familiarity with Mining and Extraction Processes: Solid grasp of mining operations and extraction methods. Laboratory Analysis Techniques: Experience with sampling methods, analysis techniques, and laboratory equipment. Desired Attributes: Data Analysis Capability: Ability to analyse and interpret data effectively to drive decision-making. Effective Communication: Strong skills to interact efficiently with mine operations, rail logistics, and marketing teams.
