About the Role
To support our growth-focused approach, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Mackay branch.
You will be working closely with the Field Sales Manager and Branch Manager, growing our business and market share in and around the Bundaberg region.
Duties & Responsibilities Proactively seeking (cold calling) new customers. Negotiate supply contracts and close the deal! Achieve new business sales targets. Networking relationships with appropriate industry professionals. Establish new business development strategies. Ensure all customer locations are compliant in accordance with relevant codes. Proven ability to convert business through cold calling techniques. Experience in a similar role within the LPG industry would be highly advantageous. Strong communications skills. An understanding of safety and compliance within the LPG industry. National Police Check and Demerit Points Statement is required prior to commencement. The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination. Most importantly at Supagas we value attitude above all else.
