Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation has operated since 2003 and is the second largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health organisation in the Northern Territory.
Based in Katherine, Sunrise Health Service services 9 remote communities east of Katherine.
We serve a population base predominantly Aboriginal, of approximately 3,800 people - many with chronic illnesses requiring early detection and amelioration.
About the Opportunity
Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation has an opportunity for a Training Business Manager to join their dedicated team based in Katherine.
The role will manage and grow the RTO training services across the region in collaboration with the Executive Manager of Corporate Services.
The role plays a central part in developing, implementing, managing and reporting on robust and effective compliance, quality and risk management frameworks and practices within the RTO.
About You!
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Proven RTO management experience with a strong track record of building, motivating and engaging staff.
Demonstrated the ability to manage a team to achieve institutional strategic objectives, targets and KPIs.
A strong knowledge and understanding of the RTO Standards, Government funding program requirements and nationally endorsed training.
The ability to develop effective relationships with executive management and staff, maintain trust and confidentiality.
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, including advanced written communication skills and the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively monitor the quality of training and assessment delivery, identify issues and implement solutions.
Preparation of reports in accordance with funding program requirements.
