About the role Located at our manufacturing plant in Leeton, you will lead a crew to ensure all the team practices and behaviours are aligned with the business's zero harm philosophy. You will help build a positive, inclusive, and accountable culture by coaching and leading by example. Working on a continuing roster, you will lead and engage your team to optimise plant performance and ensure your crew is operating to produce agreed levels of finished product within agreed specifications.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring that the Production Plan is followed and reported on, and any exceptions are acted upon. Ensuring that the operations produce finished products which are within customer specifications and within planned time. Assisting the broader leadership team to establish strategies to develop the culture of performance excellence with respect to safety, quality, and customer service. Maintaining records that relate to the operations (including quality assurance, maintenance, production, hygiene, and finished product stocks). Coordinating cleaning activities for team members that maintain the established GMP, SQF, and AIB standards. Coordinating rostering for shift coverage for absenteeism, planned leave and training, and managing adequate production staffing to meet agreed production plans. The role is on-site and located in Leeton, NSW. Financial assistance may be available for relocation for the right candidate. About You You are decisive in your problem-solving approach, have excellent communication skills, and strong organisational and planning skills. You are a natural influencer and encourage open, friendly engagement and collaboration.
You will also have:
2 – 5 years' experience in a Supervisor role in Food Manufacturing. Good knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP. Demonstrated knowledge of SHE program. Demonstrated leadership in a team environment.
