Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory is an export meat processing facility based in the South Burnett Region and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours' drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, and Fraser Coast.
Swickers has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 800 employees.

As part of the Sunpork Group, Swickers is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally.
Swickers processes 95% of all Queensland's pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide.

The opportunity
Reporting to the Export Boning/Packing Room Coordinator, the purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of the office, provide support in ensuring all orders are met in full, in specification, and on time whilst ensuring to follow all HR, HS&E, and QA requirements.

Key accountabilities include:
Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
Ensure confidentiality is maintained regarding all information exposed to you in your role.
Be involved in team meetings and ensure minutes are recorded and forwarded to EBR Coordinator and appropriate Senior Managers.
Report any issues from other departments to the manager prior to following up.
Ensure Boning Room information is recorded accurately for the reconciliations officer.
Receive and send emails in accordance with administration tasks in a professional manner.
Ensure all product codes are entered into print terminals each day prior to the commencement of each run.
Collect accurate absenteeism data, record absenteeism data into the app, and provide it to the coordinator upon request.
Record downtime for Export Boning and Packing Rooms in the downtime app upon request.
Collect information on re-works and airies amounts from Packing Room Supervisors, to record in airies cost spreadsheet.
Replenish First Aid Kit in conjunction with the Health and Safety Department.
Carry out all required first aid and strapping.
Ensure Time Target schedules are complete and accurate when printing rosters.
Record and send all incident reports and physio requests.
Complete AI Reconciliation reports as requested.
Carry out daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly filing as required.
Replenish production room and office document printing weekly.
Ensure the EBR office is kept as a neat and tidy working environment.
Generate reports upon request.
Issue carcasses into required runs when necessary.
Record collected medical certificates into the absenteeism app upon request.
Maintain employee folders.
Complete weekly annual leave posters from scheduled leave dates recorded in the leave book.
Print vision, park 'n' shop, and sample stickers when required.
Complete all required data entry (product checks, training hours, airies costs, floor scrap weights).
Enter the first pig scanned on B shift into the Swickers production reporting app.
Reasonable overtime when required as requested by EBR or Senior Management.
Carry out any other reasonable and lawful directions that may be given from time to time by the company.
Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety, environment, and welfare of our people and animals.

As a key member, you will have:
Clear and precise communication skills at all levels.
Sound computer skills including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
The ability to work within a team environment.
Certificate in Business Administration.
