The purpose of Senior Advisor Breach Assessment & Reporting is to provide specialist support and management (including monitoring, oversight, and challenge/advice) across Insurance for all incidents and breaches and to ensure compliance risk is managed within risk appetite. More specifically the role is required to support and complete breach assessments for incidents identified in Insurance, and support the management of these incidents including reporting, resolving and ongoing prevention of incidents and breaches across insurance.
What you'll do Support Breach Management activities for Insurance as per the 1st line accountabilities of the Incident and Breach Management Standard. Identify and work with key stakeholders to embed, monitor and review the compliance obligations, frameworks, and processes across Insurance when relevant to Incident and Breach Management. Support the team and stakeholders through the Significant Breach Assessment process including any breach reporting. Support the provision of strategic and specialist compliance advice across the Insurance business in respect of Compliance and Breach Management obligations and expectations. Provide strong subject matter expertise and technical knowledge on the regulatory compliance environment, obligations, licences, code of practice requirements. Provide support and coaching for breach management and rectification activities to the Business Unit/ Function through the delivery of expert compliance advisory services. Support the team with reviewing significance assessments, regulatory reporting, management reporting, and compliance advice. Support the reporting of significant/reportable incidents to regulators as required. Drive a high quality of understanding, tracking, and reporting of compliance risk, and breach management, including weaknesses identified as part of Incident root cause analysis. Work with the Manager Breach Assessment and Reporting to develop best practice and continuously improve the ongoing delivery of the compliance management regime and governing risk frameworks. Collaborate with risk & compliance teams across the Group to share insights and support promoting continuous improvement and consistency of approach What you'll bring University degree in a related field (e.g. Risk/Compliance, Business, Management, Finance) Desired Experience (minimum type and level of experience required to perform the role) 5+ years' experience in Operational Risk & Compliance within Insurance or Financial Services - Mandatory Strong knowledge of the Insurance regulatory landscape.
