Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role? This is a rewarding community-based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support.
We are currently seeking a Permanent Part Time Support Worker to provide support to our customers in the Bundaberg area.
Part Time contract available up to 75 hours per fortnight.
The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family.
No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.
Hours of work for a Support Worker are typically performed Monday to Friday between 7am to 7pm.
For your set fortnightly roster, we invite you to share your availability and hours you would prefer to work.
There may also be the opportunity to gain additional hours depending on your availability and our operational requirements.
About you A background and qualification in community services is advantageous, but just as important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values.

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold a valid Driver's Licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.
A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and CPR and First Aid certificates are required in this position, and you will need to have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
