About your role: As a Substation Technician Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you are a multi skilled or specialist worker exercising trade skills under limited supervision.
This position is responsible for completing substation maintenance and construction project tasks.
About you:
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence High Voltage experience either in switching or plant is preferred but not essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
Availability for call out and emergency work.
Prepared to travel in and around the Southern region to undertake work.
Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.
