About The Role Our Wireless and Special Coverage Solutions team within our Telecommunications division have a newly created position for a Subcontractor Coordinator to assist with new scopes of work.The successful applicant will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of Venita's Wireless construction projects by managing the administrative aspects of subcontractor onboarding, quotation inquiries, compliance and payment initiation.This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients.Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Coordinate the onboarding process for subcontractors, including collecting required documentation such as insurance certificates, licenses, and qualifications.Be the 'gate' between Project Teams and Deployment teams to request quotations from high performing preferred subcontractors for build work.Verify subcontractor compliance with organizational and client-specific requirements, ensuring alignment with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.Work closely with internal compliance frameworks, processes, and systems to ensure that subcontractors meet all necessary criteria for undertaking construction works on job sites.Maintain a thorough understanding of organisational compliance frameworks (Risk Management, Quality Management, Safety and Environment management), processes, and systems related to subcontractor management.Regularly review subcontractor documentation and records to ensure ongoing compliance with insurance, qualification, and training requirements.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any compliance issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.Provide regular reporting and evidence of compliance to internal stakeholders and clients as required.About You: Ideally you will hold relevant qualifications to the position with experience working as a Project Administrator within the Telecommunications / Construction industry.You will also possess: Proven experience in subcontractor coordination, compliance management, or a similar role within the construction or telco industry.Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, processes, and systems related to subcontractor management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Proficiency in relevant software and systems for document management and compliance tracking.Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.We are committed to providing a safe and positive environment that provides equal opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, Maori and Pasifika people, LGTBQI+, Women, Veterans and spouses and people with disabilities.What We Offer You Not only do we offer a competitive salary and career growth, we have also partnered with some reputable organisations to be able to offer discounts on Health Insurance, Banking (new home loans, credit cards, everyday bank accounts), flights & accommodation, car hire, car leasing and much more.How to apply Select "Apply Now" to submit your application.Position Reference Number: 158767
