Start in January 2025 - One in St Leonards – One in Wentworthville. Our client is a large Facilities Management / Property Maintenance Company that carries out a range of property upgrades, maintenance, and repairs on mostly occupied properties all over Australia (e.g., Schools, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Shopping Centres, etc.
).
They are currently undertaking two major refurbishment projects (over $15m each) – one is a Hospital project in Sydney's North Shore, and the other is a School project in the Parramatta/Blacktown area.
As a result, we are now looking for TWO Carpenters / Leading Hand Subforeman (M/F).
Each role reports into two very experienced Site Managers, and either role can be contract and/or permanent.
Other essential requirements are:
Unrestricted work rights in Australia.Outstanding oral and written communication skills as you will be required to keep written records on site and verbally communicate with all parties.Own transport and tools.Trade Qualifications – preferably carpentry or full builder's licence.Checkable references.A calm and accommodating persona.A current first aid certificate would be a big plus.Ability to obtain a clean police check is essential. Salaries/rates will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
