We are seeking an experienced and proactive Studio Vision Switcher to join our dynamic Studio Operations team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, live content across Fox Sports, Kayo, and the wider Foxtel Group.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of Vision Switching tasks for live broadcasts, providing both technical expertise and creative input to bring fans closer to the action.
As the Vision Switcher, you will oversee critical production workflows, equipment, and systems, maintaining a high standard of output while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be expected to work across various shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet the demands of our broadcast environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate Vision Switching during live broadcasts, ensuring smooth transitions and high-quality output.Maintain Vision Switching equipment, production files, and workflows; update style guides and documentation.Work closely with Directors, Producers, and external stakeholders to coordinate technical and creative needs.Provide creative and technical input and solutions to enhance workflows and resolve production challenges.Assist in training new staff and support ongoing staff development.Ensure broadcast quality and troubleshoot technical issues during live productions.Maintain and update production procedures and technical guidelines.Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Vision Switcher in a similar broadcast production/live studio.Expertise in Vision Switching workflows, equipment, and facilities.Strong technical understanding of broadcast equipment and systems, including vision switchers, routers, and control systems.Ability to provide creative, technical, and operational input into broadcast productions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.Experience with live broadcast production, including problem-solving under pressure.Flexible to work various shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Genuine interest in the world's best entertainment, drama, and sports - and the evolving ways to engage with customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
