About the role As Studio Manager, you'll be the go-to person for tactical operations and administration, facilitating efficient processes and supporting both the team and our physical workspace.
You'll coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and take charge of studio upkeep, enabling the CityLab team to focus on their mission of making 'make government work better for everyone'.
What you will bring… All CoM employees will demonstrate an ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values – integrity, courage, accountability, respect and excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate effective meetings by organising and collating meeting agendas and papers and co-ordinating follow-up actions.Manage changing diaries including scheduling, making appointments and meetings and organising associated support documentation.Support the people of CityLab assisting the induction and onboarding of new team members.Facilitate effective communication within the team by ensuring timely dissemination of relevant organisational and branch information.Manage end-to-end administrative functions, including service requests, purchase orders, and documentation management.Maintain the upkeep and optimisation of the studio environment to ensure it remains organised, functional, and inviting for the team and project partners.Experience in studio/office management or administrative roles; creative agency experience a plus.Strong communication skills, confident in liaising with all business levels.Skilled in reviewing and preparing high-quality, business-ready documents.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.Proficient in technology, adaptable to new systems, and able to train and support others.Skilled in developing and maintaining systems to drive efficiency and support continuous improvement.Able to research, analyse, and offer recommendations, contributing to project work.Strong planning, time management, and prioritisation skills.How to apply This is a fantastic and dynamic opportunity to build on the career you have developed to date and become an integral part of the vibrant energy that defines Melbourne city.
