Deer Ruby, the Australian jewellery and accessories brand is seeking a hands-on
Studio Manager/Customer Service Manager to join our awesome Sydney-based
team.
About Deer Ruby
Launched by designer and entrepreneur, Jodie Weerts, Deer Ruby is a growing
Australian brand with a mission is to create beautiful pieces that tell a story — each
one is handmade with love by our team.
Our Sydney studio is becoming increasingly busy as our brand expands across
Australia and the US. We are looking for an organised, friendly, switched on Studio
Manager/Customer Service Manager to lead our studio operations and manage all
online customer services enquiries.
About the role:
You will work closely with Jodie to run day-to-day customer service and studio
management. Here are the key responsibilities:
Customer service:
? Be the first point of contact for all of Deer Ruby's customers
? Answering customer inquiries, email, Facebook & Instagram
? Resolving customer complaints
? Following up all online orders
? Understand our brand, product and policies and use this knowledge to assist
customers
Studio management
? Packing online orders daily
? Dealing with returns
? Managing local and international shipments
? Provide day-to-day support to Jodie and the team by assisting with ad hoc
tasks within the business
? Develop and support current and future workflow management processes
About you:
You will be highly organised, a great communicator and not afraid to muck in with the
day-to-day running of the business.
? You want to make a positive impact for our business and our customers
? You are flexible in your approach and can easily adapt with the business
? You have excellent written, administrative, communication & customer service
skills
? You show initiative, are able to learn quickly, make decisions and meet
deadlines.
? You can prioritise and work under pressure
? You have a friendly, professional and persuasive attitude
Skills & Tools:
? Shopify / Dropbox / Gmail / Asana /
? Ability to learn fast, especially new technologies
? Knowledge of Excel
Nature of the Role:
? Must be Sydney-based
? 25-30 Hours per week – due to the nature of the business, you will be
required in the studio 4-5 days for 5-6 hours per day.
