Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Student Wellbeing and Engagement Officer. This role will play a critical part in supporting the wellbeing and engagement of our students, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one counselling and support to students with complex needsAssess and implement crisis management plans for students in crisisCollaborate with external mental health service providers to ensure students receive the best possible supportCommunicate case management plans and build partnerships with year level leaders and other stakeholdersAttend regular case review meetings and record and review case notesRequirementsHighly developed counselling skills and experience working with adolescentsKnowledge of case management and student support strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage complex wellbeing-related incidents and ensure all relevant processes are followedWhat We OfferWe offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional development and growth, and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
