Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Full time
We are seeking to appoint a Student Welfare Administrator to join our Secondary School team in providing an efficient, customer-focused and professional service within student welfare ensuring prompt delivery of confidential correspondence regarding student conduct and well-being matters between the college and parents/caregivers, support for student conduct and addressing student absences, behaviour and behavioural incidents.
Additionally, the Student Welfare Administrator will maintain a physical presence on college grounds to monitor student conduct and behaviour.
This position will commence in Term 1 2025, on a full-time (term-time) basis.
About You Relevant tertiary education qualifications an advantage. Blue Card (Working with Children); Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse range of staff accurately and efficiently with a proven ability to communicate and negotiate on a range of issues and keep appropriate documentation and audit trail. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-changing environment, to work productively with limited supervision and to prioritize and work to deadlines. Be accountable for the establishment, implementation and systems to ensure a high standard service is provided with accuracy and attention to detail. Highly developed management and coordination responsibilities as required by school leadership. Highly developed communication and written skills including highly developed IT competencies in the MS office suite as a minimum. Advanced MS Office skills. Knowledge of TASS is beneficial; Demonstrated commitment to uphold, support and contribute to the values, vision and mission of the college.
