About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Melton, Victoria. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-level student support services to improve student learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation to schools, healthcare providers, and families using evidence-based best practices.Develop and implement programs, procedures, and policies that foster resilience in children and young people to support their educational needs.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and school leadership to ensure holistic care and support student learning and wellbeing.Provide authoritative professional advice in relation to issues involving student wellbeing.Contribute to student wellbeing policy development and professional development of other student support service team members.Requirements: A graduate or post-graduate degree in social work or equivalent.Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.A valid Working with Children Check and full Drivers' License is required for this position.About the Department: The Department of Education is responsible for supporting Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy, and healthy lives.
