Student Support Officers will work collaboratively with the Student Services team to provide social and emotional learning support to students and encourage positive engagement and achievement at school.Under direction, the successful applicant will ideally collaborate and conduct discussions with staff, parents/guardians, and the community to identify student absenteeism and truancy, and provide case information.
You should maintain accurate information and record systems and communicate daily with the Head of Student Services.
You will ideally assist with the implementation of a range of school attendance and engagement strategies.
A key aspect of the role is to assist with proactive interventions to improve student well-being and provide support for students to help regulate their behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the School Leadership Team, Teachers', and Allied Professionals to provide support to students in a range of settings.
