About the role The Student Support Administrator (SSA) will provide day-to-day administrative support to the RE-ISM, as well as providing support to the Student Consultative Committee (SCC). The SSA will be cross-trained in all relevant aspects of student retention and student engagement across the Student Experience portfolio and wider university, and will support personalised student experiences in every area of their work. We are seeking someone who has organisational skills and an attention to detail to streamline processes and ensure effectiveness to benefit our student cohort. An effective communicator is paramount to this role, someone who cand respond promptly and accurately to inquiries while providing valuable advice to both staff and students, and who has experience in working with various stakeholders of all levels in order to facilitate meetings and collaboration. About the Department Five teams work in collaboration in the Student Experience portfolio: Library Residential System Student Grievance Unit Student Services Wellness Centre The overall goals of the portfolio, across teams, are to support and service: Student retention Student engagement Transformative and personalised student journeys Staff working within the Student Experience portfolio work in-concert with other University staff, including within the Faculties to ensure a joined-up, high quality student experience. Staff also work in partnership with students to encourage and develop student agency and co-contribution.
