Job no: 514920 Work type: Fixed term - Full-time Campus: Adelaide Categories: Student Services and Learning support, HEO6 (HE06) $86,360 - $93,285 per annum plus employer contribution of 17% superannuation.Fixed Term, Full Time position until December 2025Student Engagement and Success ensures a rich student experience through delivery of proactive initiatives that support student connections, progression and success during their time at the University of Adelaide. The unit works closely with student representatives and is responsible for orientation, program advice, academic progress and initiatives that support student retention and completion.Reporting to the Team Leader, Student Success, the role of Student Success Advisor is to proactively deliver front-facing student support across the coursework student lifecycle (onboarding to graduation). This includes key student lifecycle functions such as cohort/discipline-specific support and engagement, degree pathway advice, onboarding, program/course advice, student counselling and consultation, retention/engagement activities, and graduation completions.A key component of this role is to ensure the delivery of holistic student case management in line with the development of a proactive student-centric service culture with a focus on increased student retention, engagement and success.To be successful you will need:Proven record of actively contributing to the development of, and working effectively in, high-performance teams and record of championing a workplace culture.A positive, can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced and multifunctional workplace environment.Proven high-level experience in the provision of front-facing student advice in a tertiary education environment, including the interpretation, application and customisation of complex rules, policy and procedures, such as the University's Academic Program Rules.Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner and to work collaboratively to deliver student-centric results.Demonstrated high-level administrative experience, and the ability to use high-level organisational and time management skills, problem-solving and initiative to deliver high-quality outputs and manage competing deadlines.Enjoy an outstanding career environmentThe University of Adelaide is a uniquely rewarding workplace.
