Nationally recognized flight school in business for over 84 years seeks Student Services Coordinator at our Airline Training Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. Our Student Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting students studying for an aviation career.
Qualifications: Must possess superior verbal, written, organizational and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a team environment Can-do attitude Ability to adapt/respond to different types of students Understanding the concept of student oversight and working in a team environment to provide support Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively At least 10 years of experience in customer service Duties include, but are not limited to: Working with school manager, operations team members, instructors and chief pilots to ensure the student's success Participation in daily team meetings to review student progress Coordinating details for our domestic and international students, including arranging student housing and assigning roommates Daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks Coordinating graduation ceremonies with local venues Sending out progress reports and arranging parent calls with the school director if needed Arranging student social events Assisting with TSA approval and immigration compliance for students with guidance from senior management Identifying and assessing student needs to achieve success by coordinating with the school director Benefits: Advancement based upon performance, and opportunity for both career and compensation advancement Group Medical Insurance Program 401K with company contributions and Life Insurance Program Paid vacation and holidays Training regarding company procedures and education on our systems will be provided.
