This position is based in the Senior School and the role is centred around providing a high-level customer service experience to our students and staff, administering student attendance, managing the student absence system, Co-Curricular data and providing support for the school's wellbeing and student services program.
This is a full-time term-time position, noting some additional days of work are required at the start and end of the school year.
The Student Services and Attendance Officer will: Be the main point of contact for student services.Manage and administer the student attendance and absence system.Manage Co-Curricular data.Process data, communications and reports related to student attendance and absence.Pre-record all approved excursions and incursions in the attendance system and ensure compliance requirements are met.Support the Wellbeing and Student Services Team.What we are looking for: Experience in a customer service-based role.Demonstrated professionalism and discretion given the exposure to confidential student and family information.Experience in a school or educational institution or using a school management system would be advantageous but not essential.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.High level of organisation and able to work autonomously and to deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely about student matters at all levels of the organisation.If you don't meet all the selection criteria, please don't be deterred we would still be interested in receiving your application.
